Dr. Lalana Bakhale has been working as a consultant physician at Savaikar hospital and laparoscopy centre, ponda for over forty years. Throughout this illustrious career she has managed to earn the trust and respect of every household in ponda not just with her skill and experience, but also with her caring attitude and unflinching dedication towards work. Her untiring service in the field of medicine, and through various social platforms has been widely recognised. She has been awarded the prestigious Yashodamini award by the Government of Goa and lifetime achievement award by the Indian medical association, along with many other awards and accolades. To date she works with the same zeal and continues to inspire us with hee enthusiasm and passion.
